The Waimea 400 Master Plan is anticipated to be completed by the end of summer of 2021. The diagram below provides an overview of the phases of the master planning process. Please keep in mind that while every effort will be made to keep to this schedule, unexpected events due to the COVID-19 pandemic, may require the master planning process to be pushed back to ensure sufficient opportunity for community feedback. Please visit this website regularly for updates!
Please note that the master plan is just the first step in making the Waimea400 site a reality. The County will need to complete an environmental review in accordance with State law and seek County Council approval for any funding for design and construction. There will be many opportunities for the community to provide input as the County moves through implementation. It is likely that implementation will be done in phase and involve several different County agencies.
